FC Paarl Utd, from Paarl East in the Stellenbosch Valley near Cape Town play football in some of the toughest and most hostile communities in the Southern Hemisphere.
At FC Paarl players as young as 5 years old face a daily battle against gangs, crime and the constant threat of poverty. On these mean street playing football is more than just a game.
FC Paarl and Football4Life are helping street kids to stay safe, stay smart and above all else stay alive. If football is the hook then let the lesson be all about living your life in a safe and educated fashion.
